700cc火星塞的另類選擇

	很久沒有跟大家分享了!! 今次有個好東西,相信大家都知道700cc fortwo 和 roadster 的火星塞,只有原廠的NGK LKR8A可以用,沒有其他廠牌可以用,如要提升點火效能,只有從導?著手!但原廠火星塞本身,只是NGK最普通的級數,總是有點不足!! 幾年前發現NGK生產給寶馬 M系用的長效高性能OEM全白金火星塞,無論口徑,熱值等竟是和700cc用的相同,型?為LKR8AP,當時已覺得這支火星塞可用在smart上!!從廠方數字上看這組可用的哩數比原廠長六倍,值得一試!!! 於是向香港寶馬查問售價,要hk$700- 多一支,真的.......,之後有到代理歐系汽車零件的商店查門問,這是OEM產品暫時不能訂貨!! 到數月前經朋友從外國購得,立即換上其效能有明顯分別,油耗亦有節省,早前再有車友加入測試,其油耗亦有5-10%節省,小弟的smart已測試差不多一萬公里,沒有什麼不良反應,才敢向各位推介! 這組火星塞外表看沒有大分別,主要是制作物料,是全白金導點!!! 以下資訊轉自NGK官方網站: NEW NGK SPARK PLUGS FOR THE BMW M5 WILL ALSO ACT AS SENSORS NGK Spark Plugs, the leading spark plug manufacturer, has announced the introduction of a revolutionary new spark plug - LKR8AP - to be installed exclusively in BMW';s 5-litre V10 engine for the new M5 which has also been designed to act as a sensor. This extremely high output (507PS) BMW engine runs at high speed (maximum power is achieved at 7,750rpm, and maximum engine speed is 8,250rpm) and with high compression ratio (12:1) and would in any case require spark plugs with an extremely high level of performance. However, in this case the spark plugs have also been designed to act as sensors for a highly sophisticated system which monitors combustion quality and reacts accordingly. In addition to its normal function within the ignition system, the spark plug electrode is linked to a small independent control unit, the ';ionic current satellite';, which measures the ionic current between the electrodes. This current depends on the degree of ionisation within the combustion chamber, which in turn - with the aid of suitable analysis - provides an accurate picture of the quality of combustion. The system can detect the initial stages of both misfiring and detonation, enabling the engine management system to adjust its settings on a cylinder-by-cylinder basis. Incipient detonation for example is countered by momentarily retarding the ignition. Physically, the LKR8AP spark plug has a two-ground electrode design, while the centre electrode has a laser welded platinum ring. It is a long-reach (26.5mm) plug with a 12mm thread and 16mm hexagon. The small size of the spark plug leaves more space for coolant ducts within the cylinder head, improving the cooling in this crucial area. The design life is 60,000km.
