Thank you kindly for your e-mail and interest in smart.Of course it is very difficult for us to diagnose the vehicle so hereby the information from the user manual with regards to the Engine check indicator light;
It lights up
-with the ignition switched on
> Indicator light goes out after the engine is started or after 10 seconds if the engine electronics are functioning properly.
If it comes up during a journey
> Go to your nearest smart Center
As you can see it's normal if the light goes on when you put the key in the ignition but it should go off after ten seconds or after you started the engine. If the light comes up while you are driving you should bring the vehicle to the nearest smart Center as soon as possible for an inspection.

因為中華賓士CMI 都說沒亮這是正常的修車廠都說那個燈本來就不會亮
所以這個算是跟CMI舉證的證明囉
因為他們說說明書上的不是全部的車都這樣
不然就是將錯就錯
因為很多車子都是不會亮的 CMI就依此認定為不亮
現在就先從SMART原廠根據我的車子的年份
看是不是說明書寫錯
但看來似乎不是這樣子................燈應該要亮

結果....他帶我是了裡面維修的車
有03.05-700的.03.10-700的02-10-600的
這麼巧!!!都不亮

他說在問問看

我也去士林原廠反應過了!!但是她們只是去看看別台新車的燈 他說別台也不亮所以這是正常的?????為什麼都不插一下電腦測試一下呢???唉 然後就跟我說沒問題就走了[獨家]關於引擎故障燈問題經詢問SMART原廠的回函
反正這個問題他們不找出所以然來就準備送到消基會....
原則上是相信他們有解決的誠意
只是尚不知道問題出在哪裡
問題也有轉給DCT 看他們怎麼處理
